Our Advisory Board Members are individuals with diverse expertise, perspectives, and connections that align with our organization’s mission and strategic goals. To select Advisory Board members, we have established a clear criterion and a process for recruitment, including nominations, interviews, and selection. Engaging current Advisory Board members, organizational leadership, and stakeholders in the selection process has helped us ensure alignment with My School ITALY’s strategic priorities and values.

MEET OUR ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS
DR FERDINANDO AMENDOLA (ITALY)
- MBBS, MD PAETIATRICS from Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro in 1968 in Pediatric Cardiology.
- As a doctor served his patients for over 5 decades.
- Continues to help the junior football players of Bari Team in Italy as their Sports Medicine Doctor.
Being a Cardio Paediatrician, Dr Amendola specializes in diagnosing and treating heart problems in children. He has an advanced training in paediatric cardiology, which means he understands how children’s hearts work differently from adults’ hearts. He cares for babies, children, and adolescents who have various heart conditions, ranging from congenital heart defects (problems present at birth) to acquired heart diseases. Furthermore, he is crucial in ensuring that children with heart conditions receive the best possible care to live healthy lives. He is a compassionate and skilled doctor who makes a big difference in the lives of his young patients and their families.
In our kindergarten setting, he contributes by advising us in the school’s policies on:

- Supporting Inclusive Activities
- Monitoring and Follow-up

DR DEEPTHI GEDDAM (INDIA)
- MBBS, MD PAEDIATRICS from Postgraduate Institute of Medicine and Reaserch (PGIMER), Chandigarh
Dr Deepthi Geddam is a Paediatrician with 13 years of experience. She has worked in top most paediatric centres as Neonotologist. Her urge to serve rural people made her to start career in rural areas. She has established a top care Paediatric Center at Naidupet, Tirupathi, India and has been serving a lot of poor children.
She shares the same responsibilities as Dr Ferdinando Amendola and they together help our organisation to make the best Indo-Italian policies for child development and child care.
DR SANDEEP ADAVARAM (INDIA)

Dr Sandeep Adavaram is an orthopaedic surgeon with 12 years of experience in trauma, joint replacement and spine cases. He has performed 8000 surgeries. He is a pioneer in Ozone Necleolysis, an innovative approach in treating backpain without surgery. He established a tertiary level hospital in rural area a decade ago with top amenities for rural poor. With a team of doctors, complex surgeries are being performed in this hospital.
As an Orthopedic Surgeon in our kindergarten setting, Dr Adavaram focuses on promoting musculoskeletal health, early detection of orthopedic issues, providing expert consultation, and supporting the holistic development and well-being of children. His involvement contributes to creating a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive physically. He educates our teachers, staff, and parents about common musculoskeletal conditions in children, preventive measures, and strategies to promote healthy posture and movement habits. He advises us on safety measures and ergonomic considerations within our kindergarten environment to minimize risks of injury. He collaborates with pediatricians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers involved in the care of children with orthopedic concerns. This ensures coordinated and comprehensive care for each child.
